Taiwan 2024 - New Taipei Trailside Brown Bugs

From dazzling flowers and plants to equally dazzling bugs.  The variety and bizzare-ness (to us) of the insects there are fascinating, and sometimes scary due to their size.  In almost all cases I find them beautiful.  My wife, who grew up around these creatures, is less enamored but occasionally tells stories about how, because they did not have toys of their own, she and her friends played with them in the countryside.
