Managed to catch this one at a lower shutter speed, which is desirable for waterfalls, and it is absolutely the truth that the water stopped running not ten seconds after snapping the photo. This timing happened two days in a row for us, which was strange if not a little spooky. Then we saw that the flow is controlled by a valve a little higher up, which is turned off for maintenance at about the same time every day.Two more perspectives of the same scene below:
