Swamp Plants, Texas Visitor's Center - Orange, Texas

I've always liked the above effect, this thing called "Glowing Edges" in Photoshop.  Cranked the contrast up a bit before turning it on.

Hanging Moss, Texas Visitor's Center - Orange, Texas

Hanging moss has a unique beauty, seen my entire life growing up in Orange.  It's hard to photograph, though.  The contrast of the dead branches with the moss against the green background seemed a good prospect among the shots captured this day.

Dried Leaves, Texas Visitor's Center - Orange, Texas

Probably my favorite of the bunch, this was captured on the north side of the long walkway on the way back in to the visitor's center.  Don't have my monitor calibrated very well - plan to get Spyder sometime soon - and discovered that pics were oversaturated after post-capture adjustments.  Thus, this one was desaturated by 25% before compressing to 1.2 megapixels for posting.
