Japan - Miscellaneous, Temple Mantis

This guy was captured on the grounds of one of the temples we visited.  These are the most fascinating creatures, and so varied.  There's one called the Kung Fu mantis that's red and black, and several that look like leaves or orchids.  And of course the green ones.  The infinite variety in the creatures on Earth, even from one genus, never ceases to amaze me.
