A few months ago Chenjean and I, along with two other couples from church, flew to Costa Rica for a visit with a congregation that might need help. Since the girls were along, and since this was a business-type journey, I left the Bigger Cahoona at home, relying on the Pro Max camera in the iPhone. Though not professional in a technical sense, it was sufficient for the purpose and a few keepers were deemed to be blogworthy.
Our visit was centered around a rural area in the country's northwest side. Being a sucker for the rustic, some of these places were a bonanza, exemplified by the pic above. It's an adobe (I think) bread oven. This was way out in the boonies, but we saw these even in the back yards of surrounding little villages.
