Zooming out from just about the same place, near the mouth of the cave, is a mound on the north side of the path; those on that side for some reason were more jagged, not uniform at all.
A lot of post-capture time was spent on this photo, as the branch was slightly pinkish in places, almost matching the clay. In order to make it stand out more, a layer was created of just the wood, which was then desaturated and given more contrast.
