Well, I was out of the country for a time, and brought my pictures to post. However, upon attempting to sign in at hostels, internet cafes, etc., discovered that I was locked out. So after returning home, had to reset password and everything. Now back up to speed.
This picture was taken at Enchanted Rock. The kids were crowded around this stream trying to get cool after being on the hot rock.
There was an interruption in accessing this account, so postings will continue in a few days...
Another image of war and its consequences, in Fredricksburg. The graveyard gate was across the street, adjacent to the property that was used for the military demonstrations.
The muzzle flash in this shot is what makes the picture...pure luck! It would look somehow more authentic if the mop weren't standing against the wall in the background...
We were in Fredericksburg, Texas, where they do some sort of military demonstration.
This was taken at Longwood also...
Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania is one of the best botanical gardens in the country, I'm convinced. In one corner of the park there are three hemlock trees that grow together to form a domed canopy. It's roomy and adventuresome inside, with branches that form these beautiful patterns.
